About
I’m Nicolas Amores Hudson. I help international leaders, professionals and families find their footing after relocation.
An international move may begin with a professional opportunity, but it can quickly touch every part of life—confidence, identity, relationships, family routines and the feeling of belonging.
A leader may be back at work, meeting expectations and appearing capable while privately carrying pressure or uncertainty. At home, a partner or adult family member may be experiencing the same move very differently and adjusting at their own pace.
My work gives people a private place to slow down and speak honestly about what is happening. Together, we look at what is creating pressure, what matters most and what might help them feel more grounded. The next step does not need to be dramatic. It needs to be honest, practical and within their control.
When appropriate, the conversation also considers the people around them because relocation rarely affects only one person.
I brought this approach together in The Grounded Transition Programme—a structured six-week journey for international leaders, professionals, partners and adult family members navigating the transition that continues after arrival.
I work online in English and Spanish. My current focus is supporting internationally mobile people and organisations in the UAE, with international delivery also available when appropriate.
I also work privately with leaders and professionals facing career uncertainty, leadership pressure, role or contract changes, relocation decisions or the need for a practical Plan B.
You do not need to have everything figured out before we talk.
When work or life feels uncertain, it can be difficult to separate what truly needs your attention from everything competing for it.
A private conversation gives you room to slow down, speak honestly and look at what is happening without pressure to perform or pretend that everything is fine.
We look at where you are, what may be draining your energy, what matters to you and what is within your control.
You may not leave with every answer. The aim is to leave with a clearer understanding of what you need and one practical step you can take next.
